Nancy Ann's Everywhere!

It felt like Christmas had already come to my house this week.

I found a gentleman on the internet t who was selling his deceased wife's Nancy Ann Doll collection.

Over 42 dolls!

I snapped them right up. Some I will keep, but the majority of them will find new homes via Ebay.

A few were quite rare. Such as "Goldilocks" and "I have a little pet". They were all gorgeous!

It has taken several days just to unwrap and admire the dollies.

Little One @ 14 months

Yesterday, Karsey bear turned 14 months.

Never in my life has 14 months flew by so quickly!

And life has so much changed in such a little amount of time.

If you would have told me 14 months ago that we would be living in West Virginia, I would have laughed. But here we are and we are all adjusting.

I LOVE being closer to John's family. Karsen really loves it too. She gets a kick out of running around MawMaw's house and being the center of attention.

Here are some of her things she has mastered in her 14th month:

*STILL will not say MaMa but loves to say Tate
*Picks up her pink cell phone, puts it to her ear and says "hewwo"
*Walking and running are a MUST. No more crawling
*Loves to play in the closet with all of her toys
*Loves to push her baby in her baby stroller
*Loves to dance
*Still sleeping with Mommy
*Refuses food unless she can feed it to herself
*Loves to brush her teeth (and they are big and only 4 of them!)
*Loves to brush her hair
*Tries to put on her shoes, pants or anything that resembles clothing
*Has a little temper!

Vintage Cabbage Patch Kid Finds

It seems lately wherever I go, I am finding tons of Vintage Cabbage Patch Kids things.

Ashton & I have a small collection of the dolls, an original 1985 dollin the box and some of the smaller dolls you hang on the wall but for the most part, I resell them on Ebay.

These 3 pairs of CPK shoes went for over 15.00.

And last year I found an original CPK dress (minus the doll). It sold for over 25.00!

I found these figurines at the flea market last weekend and have just listed them on Ebay too.

They are so cute! Hopefully, they will find a good home!

Halloween @ Etsy

What's Your Pumpkin?

What's the fun of paying $10 for a pumpkin if you are just going to carve a generic face onto it?

I always try and come up with creative pumpkins.

You can find some free templates here

Here are a few of my all time favorites we have made:

Old Becomes New

This is an old side table I found at a local Goodwill for $5.00.

I used some new paint, some light sandpaper for distressing and I will be ordering new hardware for the drawer pull this week.

It should look pretty shabby chic by then.

Indian Summer. Boo. =(

Just when Karsen & I thought Fall was here, BOOM. Welcome Indian Summer.

=(

I for one, do not like temps in the 80's when I go to a Pumpkin Patch.

Last weekend was perfect. The high here last Saturday was 49. It even snowed in some parts of West Virginia. But BOO. Indian Summer found its way here.

It's supposed to be in the 80's today. And the Indian Summer trend is going to be here for at least a week as a Low Pressure has set in over the Mid East. To that, I must say Boo. =(
