While perusing Ebay recently, a cute set of giraffes caught my eye.
It was a momma giraffe leashed to her babies.
I had to have it. Purchase price, .99 cents.
After getting this cutie home I started to google "leashed animals" and realized that these were quite popular back in the 1950's.
My set doesn't have a name or sticker to identify its beginnings but how sweet would this be in a baby's nursery!
