March Madness certainly has come with the 2009 Mens NCAA Tournament.
My family was so lucky that DUKE was playing near our hometown at the Greensboro Coliseum.
So last Wednesday me and the boys packed up the mini and headed over to watch the free practices.
We arrived shortly after UNC had finished their session. We were able to walk right in and get a pretty good seat.
Texas practiced right before DUKE and those guys were HUGE. At the time, I had no idea that this would be Duke's opponent come Saturday.
Finally, a little after 5pm DUKE took the court.
My boys were so excited to see the team this close. Tate, my youngest, has never been to a DUKE game so this was his first time seeing Coach Krzyzewski this close.
We were able to shake a few hands and even get a couple of autographs.
Duke went on to beat Binghampton and Texas in order to make it to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2006.
