White Christmas made me cry

White Christmas is a Christmas MUST tradition.

So last night I was snuggled up in my nice, warm bed watching the movie on television.

And a scene hit me in a way that I wasn't prepared for.

It was the scene where General Waverly has put on his uniform for the Christmas Eve show and he walks down the stairs and is greeted by his granddaughter, Susan.

"Grandpa!" she exclaims in shock.

You can see the pride in her eyes. How handsome she felt her Grandfather looked.

"You didn't expect me to come down in my bathrobe, did you? " he tells her.

It was a feeling I used to get whenever I would see Papa Bud.

Its a feeling of love & admiration for a Grandpa who makes your world go round.

And I miss him so much.

White Christmas will always be different for me now.
