Thursday was my little brother Andrew's 15th bday!
Yes, I am 34 and I have a 15 year old brother.
Yes, it was totally weird having my mom get pregnant when she was 40 and I was 20.
Yes, whenever I took Andrew out as a baby peeps thought he was mine.
Yes, Andrew is younger than one of his nephews---my oldest son Jonathan born in February of 1994.
No, I would not have it any other way. I love my little brother. Even if our relationship is a little hillbilly!
When my mom went into labor the first time with Andrew, we were all watching the OJ chase on tv. Luckily that was a false alarm because we were all too into the OJ chase to pay my mom much attention.
A few weeks later she went into labor for real and I became a big sister to an adorable baby boy. I finally had the little brother I had always wanted...even if it took my mom 15 years to do it.
Today is the birthday of our country. God bless the USA and pray for our dear soldiers who are fighting for our freedom as I type this. Pray also for the soldiers who paid the ultimate cost for freedom, their lives. Freedom is not free and never take it for granted!
