The awesomely talented Jennifer of Sweet Eye Candy Creations is the reason I began my blog.
Last December I was searching Google for vintage birthday items and a picture from her blog caught my eye.
I think I spent the next 2 hours on her blog reading and looking at her vintage treasures. It was enough for me to decide I should be blogging too.Tomorrow she is hosting an ice cream social! Since my family has already planned a swim day and birthday party for my little sister at my moms house, we hosted our ice cream social tonight.
I didn't want to miss out on the fun so I hope she doesn't mind me posting my pictures a wee bit early.
If you are not reading her blog, (which I would find hard to believe given her popularity!), you will be in for a treat!

A vintage wooden tray (recent Goodwill find) is the perfect ice cream accessory!
The vintage ice cream sundae cups were a recent Ebay steal at just .99 cents for all three!
The vintage ice cream sundae cups were a recent Ebay steal at just .99 cents for all three!

Another recent Goodwill find, a Jadite Fire King shell candy dish that I had just read about on Eddie Ross! I got 2 of them for $3 each!
Vintage Hazel Atlas Crinoline plates are always a smile maker and eye pleaser!

Ashton helped to make this clothespin fairy and then invited her to the party.
