I decided to make chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate chip drizzle cookies.
Is there nothing better in this world than a cold, crisp, chocolate covered strawberry?
I know if I was a teacher and some kid brought me a chocolate covered strawberry sans the typical apple I would be pretty happy. Yeah, that kid would be line leader, hall monitor, and teachers pet for the entire day!
Bakers Choice has come out with a new microwaveable chocolate container. You simply pop it into the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, stir and BAM....you have perfect chocolate for perfect strawberries. Fast. Yummy. I am fatter just by making these! =)
The chocolate that was left over I drizzled onto the chocolate chip cookies.
All I know is there better be two kids coming home tomorrow with A's in something! =)
But seriously, my children have been blessed with talented, compassionate teachers whom my babies are all the better for knowing! Thank you teachers!
