One of the things I loved most as a child about summer was it meant lots of library trips would be in store.
As a child, I loved reading! I grew up in the 80's, before cable tv. Back then, 3-2-1 Contact, Sesame Street and the Electric Company were all that a kid had to look forward to on a day to day basis.
Cartoons wouldn't happen until Saturdays so for me that meant lots of reading Mon-Friday's.
I still love to read. And I am proud to say that my kids like going to the library almost as much as I did when I was their age.
Vintage books have been a long love of mine. My favorite ones are the older Richard Scarry books. The illustrations back then were phenomenal. Hand drawn, painted, like little pieces of art on every page.
While I was cleaning and preparing for my yard
Enjoy!
