Why in the world did MEAD quit making Trapper Keepers? The original Trapper Keeper, not the unimproved new "TRAPPER" that they have recently tried to revamp.
In my opinion, the 1980's Trapper Keepers rank right up there with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, electricity, and ESPN as some of the greatest inventions of all time.
Yesterday my sister Raini and I went to a new thrift store. MEGA THRIFT. It was the mecca of all thrift stores I had ever seen. Love, love, loved it.
Guess what I found less than 10 minutes into my search.
A vintage 1980's TRAPPER KEEPER. Intact.
I was pretty amazed at how good of shape it was in. But I shouldn't have been too surprised. Trapper Keepers were pretty much indestructible.
I found lots of cool things that I will post about later.
In other news, we are moving. House has been listed, new home has been rented and prayers are very much appreciated.
So much is changing in my life. Losing Papa, having to sell my beloved home and move far from my family---sometimes it is just too much to deal with---thank God I have a God whom I can lay down my fears at His feet and He will provide me the strength to overcome any and all obstacles!
"Cast all your fears on Him , because He cares for you". -1 Peter 5:7
